The almond is the seed of the almond tree, a well-known tree in the almond family.Rosaceae. This powerful oilseed is rich in mineral salts (magnesium, copper, phosphorus, iron, zinc, calcium and manganese), vitamin E, vitamin B2, fiber, proteins and healthy fats. 

Regular consumption of almonds helps to reduce blood sugar levels and improve blood circulation, and may be useful for people suffering from hypertension. Almonds also have antioxidant properties that protect cells, while simultaneously preventing neurological and/or degenerative diseases.
